Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El Mhazil Dunes
In the afternoon, depart in a 4x4 from Foum Zguid for a journey across the Iriki National Park. This adventure offers exceptional views of desert plains and impressive rock formations, often called the "Moroccan Colorado." Arrive at the first dunes of Erg El Mhazil, where the bivouac will be set up. Enjoy a stunning sunset before sharing a warm dinner around a campfire under a starry sky. Overnight in the desert, lulled by the silence of the dunes.
Day 2: Erg El Mhazil – Erg El Ghoule Expanses
After an early breakfast, embark on a 4-hour hike through the dunes. Camels carrying equipment accompany the group along the way. Upon reaching Erg El Ghoule, the bivouac is set up, and you have time to relax and admire the vastness of the desert. In the evening, enjoy a traditional music session around the fire before spending the night under a tent or the open sky.
Day 3: Erg El Ghoule – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi Oasis – Return to Foum Zguid
Early in the morning, walk for 2 hours toward the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi. A well-deserved break awaits you at a guesthouse, where you'll have a typical lunch and rest in the shade of an acacia tree. In the afternoon, return by vehicle to Foum Zguid, crossing the arid landscapes of the dried-up Iriki Lake. Arrive by the end of the day.

Day 1: From Foum Zguid to the Erg El Mhazil Dunes
Depart at 2:00 PM in a 4x4 from Foum Zguid for an adventure through the Iriki National Park and the ancient bed of the dried-up lake. Along the way, you will discover vast desert expanses before reaching Erg El Mhazil. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the team and the bivouac will be set up. Enjoy a climb to the large dune to witness a stunning sunset. Dinner will be served around the fire, followed by a musical evening under the starry sky.
Day 2: Exploration of the Dunes
At dawn, wake up to witness the first light of day, followed by a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Then, depart for an immersive hike through the dunes, accompanied by camels carrying the equipment and supplies. In the evening, set up camp for the night. Enjoy a social evening around the fire with traditional music and relaxation under the stars.
Day 3: Crossing to the Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi Oasis
In the morning, walk for 2.5 hours to reach a guesthouse, crossing dunes and the dried lake bed of Iriki. Once there, enjoy a traditional lunch and take a rest in the cooling shade of an acacia tree. The afternoon will be spent discovering the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi, with an immersion into its way of life, agriculture, and water management in the oasis. In the evening, dinner will be served near the fire, followed by a peaceful last night.
Day 4: Return to Foum Zguid
After breakfast, return by 4x4, crossing the barren landscapes of the dried-up Iriki Lake one final time. Arrival at Foum Zguid is expected by late morning.

Day 1: From Marrakech or Agadir to the Erg El Mhazil Dunes
Early departure from your accommodation in Marrakech or Agadir for a journey across the mountains and diverse landscapes (Tizi N'Tichka pass from Marrakech or the Atlas plains from Agadir). Arrive at Foum Zguid, the entrance point to Iriki National Park, where rocky plateaus and endless desert plains stretch before you. Set up camp at Erg El Mhazil and enjoy a welcome tea. Watch a stunning sunset from the large dune before savoring dinner around the fire, followed by a starlit evening.
Day 2: From Erg El Mhazil to Erg Elhaj Ahmed
After breakfast, depart for an immersive desert hike, accompanied by camels carrying the equipment. You’ll cross a vast expanse of golden dunes, advancing at your own pace while enjoying the tranquility of the desert. Upon arrival at Erg Elhaj Ahmed, set up camp and relax in this peaceful setting. Night under a tent or the open sky.
Day 3: Heading to Erg El Ghoule
Pack up the camp and continue your hike towards Erg El Ghoule. Along the way, you’ll observe desert-adapted wildlife and flora. Once at the bivouac, settle in and enjoy a warm evening around the fire, sharing stories and learning about nomadic traditions, accompanied by traditional music.
Day 4: El Grisim Oasis, a haven of freshness
Hike towards the El Grisim oasis, a striking contrast to the arid surroundings. Here, greenery and a water source create a soothing atmosphere. Take the time to learn about nomadic life, including the preparation of sand bread and the art of tea-making. Night under a tent or the stars, lulled by the gentle desert breeze.
Day 5: Return to Marrakech or Agadir
After breakfast, return in a 4x4 to Foum Zguid, crossing the dried-up Iriki Lake. Enjoy a lunch break in Tazenakht, famous for its Berber carpets, before continuing the journey back to Marrakech or Agadir, with an expected arrival in the late afternoon.
